Born of the river, Natchez stands today a splendid testament to the diverse people who shaped its history. Explore historic sites, experience distinctive cultures and the complete Natchez experience. Nestled on high bluffs overlooking the mighty Mississippi River and situated at the end of the legendary Natchez Trace, Natchez has become a mecca for those who wish to travel back in time to the days of the antebellum South. To many, Natchez may be just a small town in the southwestern corner of Mississippi but to those who know and love it, Natchez is a way of life and one we are anxious to share with you.
Natchez is home to many of the south’s finest antebellum homes, many of which are opened to the public each Spring and Fall during Pilgrimage. Natchez also hosts one of the South’s largest Literary and Cinema Celebrations each February featuring writers, scholars, and other professionals from coast to coast. When you think Mardi Gras, you automatically think “New Orleans”; however, Natchez is home to several Krewes and enjoys Mardi Gras “Natchez style.” Natchez also offers an outstanding opera season as well as excellent educational opportunities for children.
Currently, Natchez Regional Medical Center is seeking physicians specializing in Orthopedics, General Surgery, Neurology, Psychiatry, Gastroenterology, Radiology, Urology, ENT and Dermatology.
If you are interested in learning more about the opportunities available at Natchez Regional Medical Center, please call at (601) 443-2821, or email us at mwelch@natchezregional.com. To learn more about the beautiful city of Natchez, please visit www.visitnatchez.com.
