EXCELLENT PERFORMER AWARDS
Mavis Dobbins and DeShaun Jackson Recognized as Outstanding Employees
Scott Phillips, CEO of Natchez Regional Medical Center, is pleased to announce the quarterly award winners for excellent performers at the hospital. “At Natchez Regional Medical Center, we recognize employees for their contributions and dedication to customer service. Excellent Performers are those employees who are recognized by their co-workers for their commitment to go the extra mile to be courteous and helpful to all customers. It is my honor to announce Mavis Dobbins and DeShaun Jackson as recipients of this quarter’s Excellent Performers awards,” stated Phillips.
Mavis Dobbins, a Certified Nursing Assistant, has been employed at Natchez Regional Medical Center for five years. According to her co-workers, Mavis has a smile on her face all the time. She genuinely cares about her patients’ needs and truly loves her role as a healthcare professional.
When not caring for her patients at Natchez Regional, Mavis enjoys walking, spending time with her family, attending church. She attended Copiah Lincoln Community College and looks forward to furthering her career in healthcare.
DeShaun Jackson, Physical Therapist on the Rehabilitation Unit at Natchez Regional, has been employed with the hospital since 2006. DeShaun graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center with a Masters in Physical Therapy and will soon begin course work on his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Co-workers who nominated DeShaun for Excellent Performer describe his professional, compassionate and positive attitude as contagious, and he is a true asset to our hospital. His patients dearly love him, and he works tirelessly to help his patients regain their highest level of function and independence.
DeShaun’s hobbies and interests include readying, exercising, spending time with his family, church activities and sporting events. He attends Greater St. James Baptist Church, and he is engaged to be married this Fall.
