NATCHEZ REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER HONORS MEDICAL STAFF
Children’s Christmas Tree Fund Recipient of Donation
Natchez Regional Medical Center recently made a donation of $1,500.00 to The Children’s Christmas Tree Fund in honor of our Medical Staff. “We are blessed to have the caliber of physicians who are on our Medical Staff at Natchez Regional serving and meeting the medical needs of this community,” said Scott Phillips, CEO.
Natchez is full of traditions, and The Children’s Christmas Tree Fund, started over 108 years ago by the publisher of The Natchez Democrat , James Lambert, is an example of one of the most giving traditions we have. Through the years, Natchez residents have kept the Fund alive by collecting donations and buying hundreds of Christmas presents for area children who otherwise would not have presents under the tree. The presents are distributed to the children at the Braden Building on Christmas Eve.
“We at Natchez Regional applaud the efforts of those involved with this wonderful charity, and we are pleased to make a donation in honor of our Medical Staff during this Christmas Season,” added Phillips. “This is our way of saying thank you to our physicians for the care they give their patients throughout the year, and at the same time; we are able to give back to the community through The Children’s Christmas Tree Fund,” said Phillips.
