 Staffed by registered medical technologists and medical laboratory technicians under the supervision of pathologists, the Laboratory offers surgical pathology; cytopathology; hematology; microbiology; chemistry; blood bank and serology services. The Laboratory is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare organizations.
NRMC Laboratory utilizes leading technologies and methodologies to perform more than 350,000 tests annually. All lab reports are computerized leading to quick access for rapid physician diagnosis and patient care.
Located on the 2nd floor , the laboratory offers services 24 hours a day to inpatients and Emergency Department patients. Outpatient clients are encouraged to stop by the Admitting Department on the 1st floor between the hours of 8am - 4:30pm prior to coming to the Laboratory. A written order from your physician is required for all lab work. reports can be called, faxed or mailed to physicians locally or out of town.
Some lab work requires advance preparation for optimal test results. Please call for instructions at 601-443-2662 if you have questions concerning your lab test order. |
