Changes in relationships, living situations, various types of loss, and a decline in physical health can impact a person's ability to manage day-to-day tasks with our professional support. While coping with these issues feels overwhelming, hope is available.
Behavioral Health Services at Natchez Regional Medical Center is aware that the decision of how, when and what type of help to seek can be a difficult one for both the patient and the family. We assist you by providing a free, confidential assessment to determine the course of treatment best suited for the situation. We offer three treatment options based on one's age and level of care required:
Inpatient Treatment
The Senior Behavioral Health Inpatient Program at Natchez Regional is designed to address the mental and physical health needs of older adults. Our goal is to stabilize the crisis that lead to the hospitalization and to return the patient to the maximum level of function possible within his or her circle of family, friends and community. Services and programs are individualized to meet the needs of each patient.
Structured Outpatient Program
This medically supervised program tailored to meet the needs of Senior Adults requiring mental health support who do not need the acute treatment of an inpatient psychiatric facility. Services are available Monday- Friday for Senior Adults experience grief; persistent worries; loss of enjoyment; fears; irritability; avoidance of social contracts; sleep disturbance; or other related problems.
Adult Outpatient Service
This service is available for those 18 years and older and provides medication management and counseling for those suffering with depression, bipolar disorder, dementia and any other psychiatric diagnoses requiring intervention.
