The front Admissions area is open from 5:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. It is located at the top of the ramp near the front entrance to the hospital.
The Emergency Department Admissions area is open 24 hours a day 365 days a year and handles all registration when the front Admissions area is closed. It is located at the Emergency Department entrance of the hospital.
 Registration for service at NRMC requires that an order be issued by your physician. The Admissions Representative will then obtain your demographic information which will be used to create the permanent record of your service here.
The information requested by NRMC is the information required to assure that all insurance company, Medicare, and other government program rules and regulations are followed. If you have had service here before, we will access that information and confirm with you that it is still correct.
Each department that you visit for your services here will then have access to the information you gave at registration.
Our admission and treatment questions are not intended as an invasion of privacy; many of them are required by law and others are of vital importance to us and various departments of the hospital.
At time of admission, please have the following:
- Insurance identification cards
- Medicare or Medicaid card
- Driver's license
- Social security number
- HMO or PPO authorization document
- Pre-Certification document
- Referral form if required by insurance plan
